UNOH Event Center
The 2019 Community Enrichment Dinner welcomes Roland Martin as its guest speaker on Thursday, September 26.
Roland Martin is the host and managing editor of #RolandMartinUnfiltered,
the first daily online show in history focused on news and analysis of politics, entertainment, sports,
and culture from an explicitly African American perspective. Since 2008, Martin has been a senior
analyst for the Tom Joyner Morning Show, where his daily segment is heard on more than 100 stations and 8 million people daily. He has been named four times by Ebony Magazine as one of the
150 Most Influential African Americans in the United States. Martin was also awarded the 2008 President’s Award by the National Association of Black Journalists and is a four-time NAACP Image Award winner. Martin spent six years as a contributor for CNN, appearing on numerous shows and earning accolades near and far for his no-holds honesty, conviction, and perspective on various issues.
We hope you can join us for this inspiring evening, as we also honor four businesses and individuals for promoting diversity and inclusion in our community. Just as you are working toward building
a more diverse workforce, we are striving to support minority entrepreneurs as they create and grow
their businesses, resulting in a true community of inclusion. Tickets are just $50, and tables of 8 are
available for $400.
The Community Enrichment Dinner helps fund the Walter C. Potts Foundation which supports the
development of minority businesses in Allen County. It has also played a pivotal role in providing local
non-profit organizations with financial donations since its inaugural event in 2006. The Community
Enrichment Dinner attracts a crowd of more than 400 people from all walks of life – individuals,
business owners, and managers, politicians, educators, students and local community organizations.
Please contact the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce today at 419-222-6045 and order your
tickets. You may also order tickets online at CEDLima.com. The Lima Chamber Foundation is a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the purchase of tickets is tax deductible.
