Welcome to the Ribbon Cutting for the Allen County Veterans Service Commission’s (ACVSC) New Transportation Center, located at 201 E. North Street in Lima!
This new center is dedicated to supporting the Commission’s growing transportation program, which provides reliable rides for veterans to VA medical appointments both locally (Community Care) and to the Dayton VA Medical Center.
The Allen County Veterans Transportation Center will serve as a centralized location for transportation operations, including vehicle coordination, scheduling, and daily departures. The addition of this facility reflects Allen County Veterans Service Commission’s continued commitment to improving access to critical services and removing barriers for local veterans.
Transportation is one of the most essential services we provide, and this new space allows us to better support our veterans with efficiency, dignity, and care.
About the Allen County Veterans Service Commission
The Allen County Veterans Service Commission provides support and assistance to eligible veterans and their families, including help with VA claims, emergency financial assistance, and transportation to VA-approved medical appointments.
