Chamber Ambassadors serve as volunteers for the Membership Committee and act as a liaison between Chamber members and Chamber staff. They assist by gathering feedback and ideas regarding Chamber programs, orientating members to functions and operations of the Chamber, and promoting Chamber programs and benefits. Ambassadors receive points throughout the year for their participation and the “Ambassador of the Year Award” is given to the volunteer with the highest points at the end of the year. Due to the active involvement of these committee volunteers, this award is given to recognize their dedication and commitment to the Chamber of Commerce.
Membership Committee Monthly Meetings – Monthly meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at the Chamber from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Grand Openings & Ribbon Cutting Celebrations – Ambassadors receive Grand Opening updates by e-mail and can attend grand openings & ribbon cutting celebrations to show their support of new businesses. Ambassadors may volunteer to hold the ribbon during a Grand Opening/ Ribbon Cutting Celebration.
Chamber Event Volunteers – Chamber events often rely on our Ambassadors to serve as volunteers. There are a variety of volunteer positions that cater to a variety of skills and offer a great way to meet another Chamber member.
