Chamber President Jed Metzger will officially retire on December 31, 2024 and Joshua Ryan Unterbrink has been named as his successor
Lima, OH – October 31, 2024
The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors are pleased to announce that after many dedicated months of looking for the right person to succeed Jed; the appointment of Joshua Ryan Unterbrink as the organization’s new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective December 31, 2024 has been selected. Jed has successfully led the Chamber for over 25 years, and we wish to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for his service and leadership to the Chamber, the Membership, and Allen County.
Unterbrink brings a wealth of experience in leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement, making him the ideal choice to lead the Chamber into its next phase of growth and service to the Lima-Allen County community.
As President and CEO, Joshua Unterbrink will be responsible for spearheading initiatives that strengthen the local business community, drive economic development, and enhance partnerships across the region. With a career dedicated to advancing organizational goals while maintaining fiscal responsibility, Unterbrink has a proven track record of success. Most recently, he has served in leadership roles focused on strategic planning and community development, including his work with Activate Allen County, The Lima YMCA, Allen County Bike and Pedestrian Task Force, and various projects designed to improve quality of life in the area.

Unterbrink’s vision for the Chamber includes a focus on innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability, with a commitment to making Lima and Allen County an even more vibrant place to live, work, and thrive. His strategic approach ensures that he will hit the ground running, working closely with the Chamber’s members and stakeholders to achieve the organization’s mission.

Unterbrink will succeed the outgoing President and CEO Jed Metzger who will retire on December 31st of this year and will continue the Chamber’s longstanding tradition of fostering economic growth, advocacy, and community development.
