Maddy’s Corner is the “Pay It Forward / Pay As You Can” cafe that is also a designated youth space for mentoring and job experience.
Maddy’s Corner is dedicated to Madyson Elaine Snyder, the daughter of Pastor Tom and Lillia Snyder.
Madyson was known for her love of music, aesthetics, and coffee. She celebrated Christmas year-round, often decorating her room with lights and tinsel. Madyson was also academically gifted and planned on becoming an engineer.
Her friends describe her by her caring spirit, vibrant sense of humor, and her bright, infectious laugh. Her family remembers her constant singing, late-night conversations over coffee, and sarcastic attitude.
Madyson struggled with her mental health during high school, something many young people can relate to. She found hope and purpose in the people around her and in who she wanted to become. Her resilience is still an inspiration to this day.
Maddy’s Corner is a place where anyone can be themselves. You can find hope again. You can connect with people who care about your heart and soul. You can thrive when the world around you is full of challenges. If you look, you can find the light to guide you to a better way.
