Buckeye Community School was founded by a group of passionate educators who sought to create a school where students not fully served by traditional high schools could earn a diploma and build a path toward future success. BCS serves students ages 14–21 across mid- and central-Ohio, with locations in Fremont, Mansfield, Marion, Lima, London, Springfield, and Tiffin.
As a public high school offering an alternative learning environment, BCS provides an innovative, creative, and compassionate approach to education. Students work at their own pace, choose individualized pathways to graduation, and balance their education with personal responsibilities. BCS also prepares students for careers, college, and training programs while supporting the whole student through strong relationships and a nurturing environment.
